On December 13 at 5.30 pm visit the opening of the exhibition of the Embassy of Iran - Sofia and the Regional Ethnographic Museum - Plovdiv "The Magic of Iranian Arts and Crafts", which will be presented for the first time to the public. Various works of Iranian handicraft art and unique exhibits will be shown. This year also marks 125 years of diplomatic and 70 years of cultural relations between Bulgaria and Iran. The exhibition presents various examples of Iranian art - a heritage of the millennia-old Iranian civilization. The works of the masters reveal the distinctive beauty of Iranian art and attract us with their elegance, patterns and designs, revealing pieces of ancient Iranian tradition and culture. Visitors to the museum will be able to experience examples of ancient Iranian arts and traditional Iranian handicrafts that have been preserved to this day: kalamzani, a type of metal engraving; minakari, a type of enameling; khatamkari, wood inlay; and Persian carpets. The exhibition will be open until mid-January in the Exhibition Hall of the Regional Ethnographic Museum - Plovdiv.
